Chicago Booth MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Round 1 / Alum / Off-Campus

Met with a Booth alum at a coffee shop in my local city. She started off by describing her background, and asked me some specific questions:

1. So why do you want an MBA?
2. Why Booth
3. What other schools are you applying to, and can you compare Booth to them? How would you decide between two schools?
4. Tell me about a time you exhibited leadership
5. Tell me about a time you encountered a challenge
6. Tell me about a decision you made that you later regretted

Whole process took about 30 minutes, and there were 5-10 minutes for questions afterwards. Good luck.
