London Business School MBA Admissions Interview Questions: Round 2 / Alum / Off-Campus

Am very thankful to all the contributors of this wiki as it was really helpful for me in preparing for the LBS interview.

Here is my contribution:

My interview was held at the Alumnus’s office. Interview lasted 1.3 hrs. Most of the questions were same as stated on this page.

  • Tell me about yourself.
  • How assertive are you?
  • Do a SWOT analysis of your venture.
  • Why LBS?
  • What other schools have you applied? If you get into all, which one will you pick?
  • What kind of person are you?
  • How will you manage in a class with people of diverse culture?
  • What is your biggest achievement? & biggest failure?
  • Tell me about a time when you had to take a difficult decision.
  • How will you fund your studies?
  • Did you ever get into a confrontation with anyone? How did you deal with it?
  • Few more specific questions on my application.

In the end had an open conversation about Alumnus’s LBS experience. The presentation question was not difficult. General business knowledge was required.

Overall it was a friendly conversation. Good luck to others.
