My NYU Stern Interview experience was very friendly and conversational. I actually felt like we spent an equal amount of time evaluating if I was a good fit for Stern and vice versa (see #3 below)
My questions consisted of:
- Walk me through your resume
- Please tell me about your three greatest achievements. Detailed follow-up questions
- The interviewer then talked about all of the great things Stern was doing in social entrepreneurship (my field of interest) and the new Dean’s vision. She asked me if I had heard about some of these specific programs (explaining the programs when I didn’t know).
- Stern likes to bring together industry experts on panels discussing relevant issues today. What current issue would you like to see a panel on?
- Why MBA?
- Why Stern?
- Questions for me?
Overall, I thought the interview went pretty well and it was a really good opportunity for me to learn more about Stern. Hope this helps!
