Most questions were pretty standard:
- Resume walk through?
- Why MBA?
- Why Columbia?
- Something you are proud of?
- Career goals?
- How do you work in teams?
The only question which was a little different was around Ethics – Ethical dilemma at work, how did you tackle it and follow up questions on my example?
The interview was very high paced with the interviewer continually using my response to ask new questions. In the beginning I was a little frazzled by it, but after 5 mins I got the knack of it.
My only advice would be to
- Practice but don’t over rehearse as then your responses won’t sound genuine.
- Think of plenty of examples in advance.
