The following is an interview description and list of Dartmouth Tuck MBA admissions interview questions provided by a recent applicant:
I went to Tuck to do an applicant-initiated interview, plus a campus tour and information session. Overall, the campus atmosphere was very pleasant, if a little isolated (3-hour drive from Boston). I was interviewed by a second-year student, and I hadn’t sent in my application at that point yet, so the interview was blind. The student was very pleasant, introduced himself, and told me about his background before business school. The interview was very conversational, and included these questions: 1. Walk me through your resume. Overall, nothing surprised me about the interview, since these are fairly normal questions for MBA interviews. What I can conclude about Tuck is they are very fair in regards to letting everybody interview, but also very thorough as they probe through your background and whether or not you’re a fit for the school. So excited! Dreams do come true! Interviewer emailed me shortly after the decision. Got some money as well.
To be honest, it came as a shocker because this was my safety school. But I got accepted to higher-ranked schools on my priority list, so it is okay. I will most likely enrol at Harvard if they are generous with FinAid. Wishing everyone the best for R2
Missed the call from a 2Y student, and received 20K/year. Very grateful for the result.
Will have 3.5 YoE by matriculation.
Applied days before the deadline.
The adcom left me to die and waited until the last day for R1 decisions to let me know of my rejection.
Anyways, I'm pleased about my rejection and knowing I'm not going to a woke school. I still got an acceptance at 2 higher ranked schools.
I got a call today from a student I connected with during the application process! 13y Background: operations, product management, and leadership positions.
