Decided to do the interview on campus. Interviewer who was a Year 2 student already had a copy of my resume; hence, questions were very specific. Asked the following:
- Walk though my story (2-3 minutes).
- Short- and Long-Term goals?
- Why UNC? Why an MBA? (Important to focus on how prior experience is helpful to your career path, but at the same time where you are lacking, and the value of an MBA. Also bring up specific clubs that are relevant from a professional aspect.)
- Any questions for me? (Asked him personal questions on his experience on campus and taking classes prior to MBA to bond with students on campus and to get up to speed on the learning curve.)
Overall very pleasant experience and the whole day was well planned out. Decision was that I was accepted with a small scholarship. Declined as this was my safety school.
