Undergrad Extracurriculars / Volunteering :
1. Worked with an NGO with the objective of spreading awareness on some of the most pressing issues of society such as HIV AIDS, Drub Abuse.
2. One of the founders of the Movie Club in the college – it grew to 100+ members now.
Post-college Volunteering:
-Working with an NGO in California to help design its impact studies and extract meaningful insights from its data. The Impact Studies and Insights will be used for fundraising pitches.
- As a member of the ‘Data Science & AI 4 Good’ program in the company, I help an NGO that works for mental health and suicide prevention causes by mathematical modeling & machine learning.
Hobbies:
- Amateur Astronomer- Member of one of India’s most active amateur astronomers association. Took part in various star parties. I will be completing a certification in Astronomy and Astrophysics with Dissertation from a research institute in Bangalore, India in October.
- Surfing (in the water :) )
My concern is, all my volunteering activities are data analysis focussed, which is what I do in my day job as well. Would that make me look uni-dimensional?
Also, the years work experience, especially for European schools, is it too low?
