We set course for Seattle, Washington, in this edition of Real Humans: MBA Students, featuring new members of the full-time MBA class at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.
110 students joined the full-time MBA Class of 2022 at Foster. Women comprise 37 percent of the class and nearly a quarter are international. Twenty-eight percent of new students are Washington State residents.
During their undergraduate years, Foster MBAs averaged a 3.37 GPA. Twenty-eight percent of the class had majored in business. Nineteen percent had studied engineering. Seventeen percent had studied the humanities and 12 percent social sciences. Nine percent had majored in computer science and eight percent earned degrees in math and science. Economics was pursued by seven percent of the class during undergrad. On average, students are age 29 and have six years of work experience. The average GMAT for the class was 692.
