Hello. I'm a businessman in Tokyo, totally born and brought up in Japan. So, please forgive me if my sentences seem awkward. I graduated from Tokyo University and its Graduate School, Japan's top school, majoring in city planning. Since graduation, I've worked for the top construction company in Japan as a real estate development planner (kind of project manager in land use planning and engineering) for over 9 years. I participated in some major huge development projects in Tokyo and throughout Japan. Last year I got my company's sponsorship for my MBA program. So, I'll probably go back to Tokyo in the post-MBA, but I want to work at my company's US branch in Bay Area. My study focus at MBA
is finance, business communication, and real estate. I also learn about social impact and technology innovation management.
So I picked up the schools mentioned above.
But today, surprisingly, I got 760 on GMAT. So now I'm thinking of adding some top schools to my list. I prefer corporative school culture to a competitive one, suburban or rural areas to big cities, and smaller schools to larger ones. In my current notion, I plan to add Kellogg and Haas to my list. How do you think, and is there any other school fitting my prospect?
