Background:

I'm in an interesting situation. I applied to 6 schools R1 (McDonough, McCombs, Foster, Marshall, Anderson, SOM), all ranked 15-25 except SOM which I considered a moonshot. I have interviews at all 6. Finance UG from a school ranked around #80. WE is from an unknown fintech bank where I am essentially a relationship manager. One promotion from analyst to program manager. Cambodian American Male, light ECs post college, though I did a two-year religious mission in Cambodia after freshman year. Decent LORs, decent writer. Targeting MC at MBB or B4.

My dilemma:

I think I can reasonably assume I will get into 3 or 4 of these schools, maybe with $$ (Ok excuse the privilege here- I know I am extremely blessed). The fact that I got an interview at SOM prompted me to wonder whether I should have aimed higher. In my opinion, my profile's biggest negatives are: non target UG, not great ECs post school, not great involvement in school, not a prestigious company nor job function, anticipate high app volume this year so wanted to make sure I had options.

My questions:

I've already started working on CBS app. If I were to "aim higher", I like CBS and Stern. None of the schools in the 10-15 range excite me that much, but do you think I have a shot at Stern or CBS? I could have CBS submitted within a week's time, which would theoretically get me a decision before R1 deposits are due. Really wish I would have submitted ED, but didn't think I had a shot. Maybe I don't lol but figured I'd ask.

Should I be at peace with my school selection?
