Hello, love the podcast and have been an avid listener on the tube for a while now! I particularly enjoyed your discussion of London pubs...
English Woman applying for Fall 2023 entry to US schools. I currently work in Asset Management Sales (not seen any profiles with this background so unsure if that's a lack of applicants or a lack of hope!). Looking to land in the US post MBA in a strategy role at an asset manager.
Undergrad: Top 5 UK university in a humanities subject (c. 3.3 GPA) and a different Top 5 UK for finance masters (c.3.8 GPA). Worked throughout degrees c. 30hrs a week to self fund. No GMAT yet but like everyone else dreaming big for that 740.
EC's focused in mentoring and sports, having held several sports leadership positions in undergrad. Have continued to compete in two niche sports since then (one solo, one team based). I'm also involved with several charities and sit on the board of one locally.

Areas of concern: 1. The classic GPA concern given it wasn't something 'difficult' like engineering- does the masters offset it enough? What sort of GMAT level would help to counteract it? 2. Sales background in finance, is that seen negatively? Finally, should I cut some of the EC's from the app so not to appear a jack of all trades?
