Studied Chemical Engineering at a high rated state school and have been working for 3 years. Started in optimization role at an oil supermajor supporting global refinery portfolio and then moved into logistics for a top CPG company. Current role is operations management starting up a new location and managing 25+ direct reports. Also took on added responsibility of sustainability leader, managing initiatives to reduce carbon, water, and waste footprint. Short term goals are to go into consulting at an MBB, and long term is to work in greentech/sustainability consulting to help companies achieve net zero goals. For extracurriculars, I am the site leader for community service/involvement to plan volunteering and fundraising efforts as well as leader of site group for Asian Pacific American network. In college, I was president of chemical engineering organization. I am an overrepresented minority but born/schooled in US, and would like advice on if my schools are achievable and if part time may make more sense for me.
