This edition of Real Humans: MBA Students takes us to Seattle, Washington, to meet some new members of the full-time MBA Class of 2024 at the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business.

96 students joined the full-time MBA Class of 2024 at Foster. Women comprise 42 percent of the class and 43 percent are international. Nineteen percent of new students are Washington State residents. Forty percent of U.S. students identify as students of color and 13 percent as underrepresented students of color.

During their undergraduate years, Foster MBAs earned a median GPA of 3.4. Twenty-eight percent of the class had majored in engineering. Eighteen percent had studied business. Seventeen percent had studied the humanities and eight percent social sciences. Ten percent each earned degrees in economics or math & science. On average, students are age 29 and have six years of work experience. The median GMAT for the class was 710. For those who opted to take the GRE, they reported median scores of 160 on both the Verbal and Quant sections.
