I've had a very blue chip career (IB to PE) besides the very beginning of my career (quant finance). My concern is that I'll struggle to differentiate myself when compared to the numerous applicants with a similar professional background and post-mba goals.

To add to my background, I graduated from a Big10 school with an engineering degree (3.6 GPA and 3.8 Major GPA).

After completing an MBA, I hope to return to PE. Long-term, I hope to have developed an investment thesis that I can apply to tech investing in LatAm.

Looking to apply to the class of 2026.

I am hispanic. But, would this matter next year (when I apply) with the current AAP criticism and supreme court hearings that are currently happening?
