Submitted R1 applications to Kellogg, Tuck -- originally with GMAT 710. Waitlisted at Tuck, waiting on Kellogg decision.

Recently retook GMAT with a 730 result and planning to apply to Wharton, Sloan, HBS, Fuqua. Coming up on 4 years of experience, 2 at B4 consulting firm (financial services consulting), 2 in strategy role at startup.

Extracurricular activities: currently building a property technology app, active real estate investor, athletics (runner, former rower), active in financial education volunteering and diversity initiatives through work

Post MBA goals -- pivot to FinTech as Product Manager, eventually start my own FinTech/PropTech.

I think the higher score helps even with a slightly lower engineering GPA. Assume you’ve notified Kellogg of the new score, too. Showing impact and growth at work will be essential. Sounds like your goals make sense, and you have decent ECs, some of which related to your goals. (0)

Yes, might be worth considering another program, from the same tier as Duke. Do you have recommenders that could support you, even with the shorter notice, and holidays upcoming? (1)
