I also like the advanced degree in corporate finance and the 3.65 GPA that comes along with it. I am curious to know more about your undergraduate GPA and whether or not there is any context for your 3.15. Top-ranked school? Rough major? Were you ranked highly in your class despite the 3.15? Your GRE will be below average at many of your target schools, and despite your potentially unique profile as a Colombian working in real estate and construction, I worry it could spell trouble at some of these programs. Have you already applied to these programs or are you applying this fall? If you have applied, any word on interviews as of yet? I'd also like to better understand your career plans, which feel a bit scattered at the moment. In an ideal world, you would have a concrete plan that marries your past experience, regional expertise, and the knowledge you will gain in an MBA program. Finally, how are your ECs? Yes, my bachelor's and postgraduate degree are from a well-recognized school here in Colombia but I don't have any information about my undergraduate rank. PG was 9/30. 2. Already applied to Ross and Johnson with the test waiver( that was before my GRE score) Ross: interview next week Cornell: waiting for an answer 3. I'm aware of my GRE score and I'm planning to retake it. But I'm not sure if I would score significantly higher due to the lack of time. 4. The idea is to apply to the other b- schools in the 3 round. 5. My post-MBA goals are to continue as Director of Finance in the same company I work for. We have several plans for the future and it's my responsibility to lead them. 6. The purpose of the MBA is not limited to improving my professional profile, but also, is a personal challenge to prove to myself that I can be an exceptional leader with the rigorous knowledge that is required to assume this role.
