I plan to retake the GMAT prior to applying Round 1 next fall. I was PTing around 730 at the time I took my first GMAT.
I work for the US federal government in a niche economic role. Currently, I am one promotion away from reaching the top of the federal pay scale. Looking to pivot out of my current field, which I feel will pigeonhole my career if I stay much longer, and move to consulting. Most likely will look for offices that consult federal and state agencies. Ultimately, I plan to return to the government at the tail end of my career to help collect a pension.
I had initially considered going to a top weekend program, but realized that I wish to transition over to the private sector. I image that would be difficult to accomplish part time.
