Currently in risk management in finance.

Make sure you target the first rounds. Showing impact and growth at work will be important. Are you also involved in activities outside of work?

aspirant777 Likes Earned: 4 Why MBA? I don’t mind finance but currently I’m limited to risk, and would like to get into sales/business. I also wouldn’t mind going into something completely different that is related to environment or sustainability. Other activities: Summer intern at a multinational insurance company in NYC during my undergraduate studies; Played a sport (table-tennis) and was the captain of the club team that won a regional tournament comprising of the top table-tennis schools in the New England and New York area; undergraduate research assistant (economics); Student representative during my master’s (received feedback from other students and held meetings with faculty to sort any issues and improve the experience for all parties); Team Leader during Move-In week: trained, supervised and led a team that assisted students and families during move-in week (1)

aspirant777 Likes Earned: 4 Don’t know how relevant my activities outside of work are but also: I’m currently enrolled in a risk management course (offered by an institute that is sponsored by the country’s reserve bank). So, if things go as expected, I will get a certificate out of it. (1)
