I plan to work at a Tech such as Google, Microsoft, Apple and similar, maybe following a finance path or switch but within the tech industry. Factors: 1) Scolarship received 2) Career impact of both schools in tech 3) Find a lender (Only 20K personal funds) 4) I have a wife and daughter.

Their scholarship appears to be quite attractive, especially in your circumstances. What are your geographic preferences, post MBA? How are each program’s respective networks in Lima? (1)

As you likely know,, the tech industry reduced its hiring of MBA grads in the last year so it is a bit harder to land a Big Tech job. Given your finance background and your desire to work in the tech industry, I suspect that your best shot will be to target finance roles in a tech company. In terms of your criteria. 1) Scholarship. UNC is offering you a $110k scholarship while you have no scholarship offer at Stern. In addition, when you factor in the lower cost of living, the total cost savings of attending Kenan Flagler is likely even higher. 2) Career impact: Both Kenan Flagler and Stern can provide you with opportunities to work in Big Tech. Of the Class of 2023 graduates seeking employment who accepted jobs in tech, Stern placed 14% in tech and Kenan Flagler placed 12%. In summary, the Kenan Flagler option sounds quite compelling. a) It is a strong program with a good track record of tech placements b) It is offering a large scholarship which will greatly reduce your need to borrow money 3) It has a lower cost of living so you will be able to find housing for your family. Obviously, you should do your due diligence by chatting with current students to help you finalize your decision. (2)
