IE Business School MBA Application Deadlines 2024-2025
IE Business School operates admissions on a rolling basis, so there are no specific deadlines for the International MBA. Instead, applicants may apply at any time throughout the year before their chosen term begins.
For the January 2025 entry, the final day to submit an application is December 31, 2024. For the September 2025 start term, the final day to submit an application is September 1, 2025. For the January 2026 term, the final day to submit an application is December 30, 2025. The school, however, does encourage applicants to apply as early as possible given the high volume of applications received. Places in the IMBA are limited, and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, by strict order of admission date.
Applicants can expect to hear a decision from the IE admissions committee approximately one or two weeks after completing the entire application, including documents, exams and interview(s).
Required Materials
To apply to the IE International MBA program, candidates must have completed a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
The completed online application form must be submitted with a one-page CV, responses to essay questions, official transcripts, GMAT, GRE, or IE Global Admissions Test (ieGAT) test scores, contact info for two sources (academic or professional) of letters of recommendation, photocopy of current passport, passport size photo, and the non-refundable €150 application fee. Applicants also complete an online assessment, the Kira Assessment, by the IE MBA deadlines. For the online assessment, applicants are given three questions to answer in a set amount of time–one is written and two are recorded via video. The online assessment should only take 20 to 30 minutes to complete.
Non-native English speakers who have not obtained an undergraduate degree in English, worked and lived for more than two years in an English speaking country, or have extensive professional experience in English, must take the TOEFL, IELTS, Duolingo English Test, or the Cambridge Advanced Level certificate.
