Any guidance on schools suitability? Additionally, if I can bump up my score by 5-6 points can I look at T1 schools?

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1663 The 318 GRE is a potential liability, especially if you know you can improve that score. When would you schedule to retake? You should also try to target the first rounds for a few programs, if that’s doable?

Showing impact and growth at work will be very important, backed up by strong recommendations. Are you also involved in activities outside of work? Any additional hobbies and interests?

arjun9373 Likes Earned: 0 It'll be tough to do it in time for R1. The soonest I could go for it might only be in Nov. At best I could have it for R2 for same/other programs. I have gotten a soft nod on my CV from some acad-com chairs. I think that should be a good sign?Recommendations are from the workplace. And senior level execs. Basically CEO -2 Traveling, reading, swimming. Some community activities but nothing extremely substantial beyond this that might pop. Or as an organization. Have a strong travel history, moved around a lot. (0)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1663 I assume your work experience is the strength of your overall profile. Now you should really push to increase the GRE so it’s also competitive for top programs.

With a very good GRE score, you may well have options with these programs. If you were able to target round 1 with the higher GRE, that may have opened more doors.
