Notes:

I am reapplying to many of the schools after not getting admitted last cycle. Last time I applied with a GMAT classic score of 720 which was slightly lower than the class average at most of these top schools. I am an ORM and I have heard that I have to aim 10-20 points above the class average to be competitive. I took the GRE since last applications and scored a 329 which is above the average I see reported for most top schools. Would it be better to reapply just with this GRE score or should I apply with both GMAT and GRE to show improvement?

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1657 Are you applying in the first rounds? As a reapplicant, I’d target the first rounds, with the 329 GRE score. While the scores are fairly equivalent, most programs, with the exception of Yale and Stanford, do have lower median GRE scores, as far as I can tell. (0)

hjpeso792 Likes Earned: 3 I applied to 4 schools in round 1 (Booth, Sloan, Fuqua, Goizueta, Stern). Since I took the GRE mid September, I couldn’t apply to more schools in round 1 with early September deadlines as I was not sure if they’ll really consider the score if I provide it as an update. Applying to Wharton, CBS, HBS, Kellogg, Yale in round 2. Would you suggest keeping both GMAT and GRE in the application for those or just move ahead with GRE score only since it is above their median scores? (0)
