Question about All Schools

Hi All,
Please help me understand the difference between ORM and URM?
I am an African-American male born in the United States. My work experience is in law (Legal Admin). Is this profile considered ORM for America top B-schools? I am so new with B-School admissions. This is very different from Undergrad admissions for sure.

anon39641 Likes Earned: 26 African Americans would be considered URMs. ORMs in terms of demographics are individuals that are white, or Asian (specifically Indian and Chinese). ORM/URM is also in various ways aside from demographics. For example if you were a consultant/banker. That would be in an ORM bucket too. Many ways to look at it (0)
