The Georgetown McDonough Master’s in Management (MiM) Class of 2025 represents a vibrant and diverse community of young professionals united by a shared drive to make meaningful contributions to society through business. In this Real Humans, we meet some new McDonough MiM students hailing from cities around the globe, including Patna, Cairo, Montreal, San Diego, and Arlington; they bring rich and varied backgrounds—from consulting at EY and entrepreneurship in education to competitive squash and federal strategy internships. Their stories exemplify the program’s emphasis on fostering leadership, global perspectives, and the Jesuit value of “cura personalis“—care for the whole person.

For Ayush Vats, Georgetown McDonough’s focus on societal impact was a decisive factor. With a political science background and experience in educational strategy, Ayush views the program as an avenue to explore the intersection of business and society while crafting solutions that bring positive change. Similarly, Amina Abouelenin leverages her interdisciplinary studies from UPenn to refine both hard and soft skills, taking full advantage of Georgetown’s collaborative culture and unique Global Business Experience.

The cohort’s commitment to service and innovation extends to all corners of the classroom. Marie-Perle Nkosi blends her international development studies and consulting experience to foster inclusive conversations and actionable insights. Finn Sadler’s journey, rooted in the transformative potential of decentralized finance, epitomizes a desire to bridge technical innovation with broader societal understanding. Meanwhile, Kaiya Mitchell and Sophia Romano illustrate how leadership and psychology bring fresh perspectives to problem-solving and team dynamics, enabling the class to thrive in its collaborative endeavors.

What unites this cohort is not just their impressive achievements, but also their willingness to embrace challenges and step outside comfort zones. For many, attending Georgetown marked a first in international exploration, while others use their diverse academic foundations to foster meaningful connections. This year’s MiM class embodies the values of global-mindedness, creativity, and purposeful impact—qualities that set Georgetown McDonough apart and promise a bright future for its graduates.
