grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1310 Congrats on your offers! Do you know where you'd like to land post-MBA from a geography standpoint? Are you keen to be on the West Coast? Hoping for the Northeast or Southeast? Also, do you have a sense as to whether you will be pursuing consulting or tech?

I ask these questions because they may help you to narrow things down.

As you know, Foster is going to be really well situated when it comes to those Amazon/LinkedIn/Microsoft jobs (tech is their most popular field for placements), whereas Owen will be strongest in consulting (followed by finance and healthcare).

You might also think about the very long-term and where you hope to work. Vanderbilt will have a Southeast/East focus when it comes to alunmi, whereas Foster will have a much bigger presence on the West Coast/Pacific Northwest. If you plan on returning to India, it might make sense to investigate the strength of each program's alumni clubs in India.

However, I understand these are not target school for MBB, so I also up for T2 consulting. Location is not a significant part of my decision making. Specifically based on consulting oppurtunities, what should I decide. (0)

Likes Earned: 1310 I suggest that you take a close look at the last few career placement reports for both Foster and Owen to get a better sense of the percentage of grads heading into consulting. My sense is that Owen typically sends a higher percentage into the field, but I encourage you to do your due diligence and to perhaps even chat with the each school's career services office to learn more about opportunities.
