I went to school for 2 years and had mediocre grades, dropped out for 9 years to have a family and work, and came back and finished the last two years strong with a 4.0 every semester. Awarded Provost’s List multiple times.

Was also working FT and Secretary of the Psych club, and mothering 2 kids while un medicated ADHD.

I have had 16 years of work experience total, and I have 7 years of work history as an optician and a mortgage loan originator (both quant experience) and was promoted in both of those jobs. I’ve also owned my own businesses, and have self-led successful volunteer experiences as well as volunteered for organizations.

Also not sure if it matters but I have a unique background. American but have spent time living in Mexico and working/studying in Guatemala and Peru. Recently just spent 2 months in the jungle learning about plant medicine and the Shipibo language from an indigenous elder in the Peruvian Amazon.

I enjoy process improvement hence the consulting concentration, and I also am interested in entrepreneurship based on my past businesses, and wanting to help support indigenous female entrepreneurs in Peru.

I am a 29 yo black brazilian woman. I am civil engineer by the oldest civil engineer school of Brazil with full scholarship. I have been working with data since 2015 and now I am coordinator of a data team I the biggest Latin American Bank. Currently I am studying for toefl and improving my English. My main purposes joining a top tier mba are to improve my leadership skills and to learn with different people from different backgrounds (I am working in the same business since 2017).
