Real Humans of the Minnesota Carlson MBA Class of 2024
Welcome to another installment of Real Humans: MBA Students in which we get to know some new members of the full-time MBA Class of 2024 at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management. The average class size at the Carlson School of Management is 89. Thirty-two percent are women and 19 percent are international. Sixteen percent identify as students of color. Chicago Booth Employment Report: MBA Class of 2022 Lands Higher Median Salary
The employment report for the MBA Class of 2022 at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business reveals a higher median salary over the Class of 2021. Of the 563 members of the graduating class, 88.5 percent (or 498 students) were seeking employment. At graduation, 93.1 percent of these MBAs had received a job offer, and nearly 97 percent had received offers three months post-graduation. Job acceptances at the three-month mark landed at 95.6 percent. The median salary for graduates is $175,000, a $20,000 increase over last year’s class. Real Humans of Texas McCombs’ MBA Class of 2024
Meet some new members of the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business Class of 2024 in this edition of Real Humans: MBA Students. 220 full-time MBA students matriculated at McCombs in the fall of 2022. Women comprise 35 percent of the class and 28 percent are international. U.S. minority students make up 36 percent of the class’s U.S. citizens and permanent resident. Cornell Johnson Interview Questions & Report: Round 1 / Adcom / Virtual
My interview was conducted online, and the interviewer was a Cornell Adcom. She was interested in getting to know about my short-term and long-term goals. Along with why I wanted to pursue an MBA at Cornell. I thought she was a very pleasant person to speak to and I felt very comfortable speaking to her. Yale School of Management Employment Report: MBA Class of 2022 Sees Jump in Median Salary
See the Yale MBA employment report for the Class of 2023 here. The Yale School of Management’s 2022 MBA employment report reveals a successful class coming out of the pandemic years. Eighty-six percent of the Yale SOM MBA Class of 2022, which numbers 327 students, sought employment. Their three-month post-graduation job offer rate came in at 96.1 percent, and the acceptance rate was 93.3 percent. It was an interview by a second-year student virtually via Zoom. It was profile-based questions followed by situation-based questions and lasted for 45 minutes. Dartmouth Tuck MBA Employment Report: Class of 2022 Earns Record Overall Compensation
The Dartmouth College Tuck School of Business has released its employment report for the MBA Class of 2022. The report shows Tuck graduates had impressive acceptance rates. Within three months of graduation, 98 percent of the 255 job-seeking graduates received an offer. The job acceptance rate at the three-month mark reached 96 percent for those seeking work. The median signing bonus landed at $30,000 and the median salary at $175,000. This brings the median total compensation to $205,000, a record for overall compensation for a Tuck MBA class. It was a stressful interview, no introductions or friendly banter. Interviewer outlined the format of the interview (40 min behavioral Qs, 10 min for 1-2 questions) then started right away.
