I work adjacent to public finance investment banking and am involved in debt capital markets transactions. I believe there is a logical transition to investment banking given the transactionary environment and given how much interaction we have with banks. My long-term goal is in private equity. I was over involved in school with a handful of executive positions in large student organizations. However, I transferred schools, changed majors, and took time to graduate. Alma Mater is a large pubic university that is more regionally known. If this spring goes to plan I will have passed level 3 of the CFA. I am with my second company outside of school and have been promoted and loosely manage 1st and 2nd year analysts on certain clients and projects.
