I am planning on transitioning into the renewable energy development space. I am hoping to capitalize on schools that are strong in the tech space as well as sustainability oriented. Any suggestions are helpful! I believe I have strong extracurriculars as well.

anon18903 Likes Earned: 0 No major preference in terms of geography, though I would prefer Cali / Boston. I didn't get into my target schools last year so I'm broadening my list so to speak, and hope to come back with a higher GMAT before round 1. I'm American from Texas originally and have worked in the UK now for 2 years (3 upon entering business school). Can you kindly elaborate on what "impact" means to you/adcoms given this is such a subjective term? Many thanks (0)

One way I consider it: how you've impacted something that if a peer was in your role, they might not have had the same level of impact, so in that sense it's relative. Maybe a budget saving, an increase in market size, increase in fundraising (due to some interesting marketing tactic), identifying a new market for a product, persuading leadership to pursue an opportunity. Etc etc (0)
