Graduated from liberal arts college in the US, majored in Applied Math and German, did a semester of exchange in Germany. Worked at a big four's Boston office deals practice specialized in HR due diligence - i.e., evaluating the debt-like and quality of earnings re: pensions, 401k, benefit plans, etc. Was working towards getting my actuarial credential to become an ASA in the society of actuaries, passed all 7 preliminary exams while working and only have a thesis left. Got transferred back to PwC China a year ago because I wasn't selected into the H1B lottery, and developed some subject matter expertise in China deals.

I worked for a lot of prestigious fortune 500 companies and top PE firms on my job, e.g., Bain Capital, Stanley Black & Decker, GE and Ping An on some famous deals, and I'm proud to be part of the making the difference. I believe deals are the pulses of the economy and would like to continue to be part of this crowd, working with smart and intelligent people. Although English wasn't my first language, I got an early promotion to senior associate and invented tools that saved sizeable billable hours for my line of service. I strive to become a better version of myself every single day.

GRE was taken without prep back in 2017 with 170 quant and 157 verbal. Taking GMAT early August hoping to hit the 750 mark. I'm interested in getting a deeper dive into mergers and acquisitions. Hoping to work for an investment bank on the sell-side for a few years before getting hired by a PE (Bain Capital to be the dream company) and work on the buy-side of deals. Specifically interested in cross-border deals given my international background and hoping to eventually work in Asia. But prefer work in the US immediately after graduation.
