I have been a practicing gynaecologist for last 9 years with some experience of providing healthcare services in underserved areas. Post MBA I want to start my own venture in Women's healthcare. Maybe get some experience by working at a Femtech venture first.

anongreg Likes Earned: 70 You might be on the older side of the spectrum for applicants at these schools so keep that in mind as you are applying. You'll need to show that you will be fully engaged in the community and not just there to get a degree and move on. That being said, you have a very unique background as a doctor that will make you stand out in the crowd which is a great thing to see and should be emphasized in your essays. I would make Fuqua, Wharton, and Ross your top three focus since they have had the most recent success with healthcare startups. Your GMAT and GPA are all pretty on par but they won't make you stand out so make sure that your essays, recs, and resume are all solid. I see no major weaknesses, just make sure you don't apply to all 8 of these schools R1 and focus on maybe 3-4 on R1 instead. Good luck! (1)
