Are you from Chile? Is the 3.0 a US degree (on the lower end) or from Chile, how does it rank? Are you involved in activities, outside of work? What, specifically, are your post MBA goals? You want to make sure that they are focused. (0)

With that said, I am concerned about whether or not you will pass the academic threshold for the schools on your list, as the 1-2 punch of a 3.0 GPA and a 321 may be hard to overcome. How many times have you taken the GRE? Have you taken the GMAT too? Also, how active are you outside of work? Are you male or female? A citizen of Chile or somewhere else? These are all things which could impact the outcome of your applications - as well as the strategy you deploy.

ticampos Likes Earned: 1 Thanks to both. Im a Chilean male currently working at a big energy corporation. I sold one start up when I started working here and left one recently when I decided to apply to the MBA. I have a major in Industrial engineering and one in Electrical engineering. The 3.0 US degree is an approximation, i have a 5.4/7 in Chile ranking (is about the top 35% of the class). Outside of work, mostly sports and working in the startups. After MBA i want to change career to a more tech related in the short term and to entrepeneur in the long term. The GRE is due to a 154 in Verbal and 167 in Quant, Im hoping to "compensate" the verbal with the english test (still waiting for the results). Also thinking on applying to USC. (0)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1677 USC may be a good option to include. I think your work experience looks strong, and will help, assuming you can get strong recs in support. It might be worth considering retaking the GRE, if you think you can improve that verbal score? (0)
