Currently I am at a conjuncture where I feel that I need to pursue an international qualification to boost my career. I have diversified experience of Corporate Finance & Advisory spanning over 15 years now and working in Corporate Banking currently as Department Head for northern region. Academically, I earned an MBA in Finance & Banking in 2007 from top local university of Pakistan with a CGPA of 3.75/4.00. Apart from that I have been able to achieve certification from Harvard Business School through their online program in Finance with distinction. I am currently embarking upon GMAT/GRE however have not settled for a date. Other that academic and professional, I am associated with diverse local clubs, societies and philanthropic work including earthquake and flood relief.

Are you considering an online MBA (Wharton just launched an online exec MBA, for example) or an in-person experience? (0)

khanaizaz Likes Earned: 1 I'm primarily looking for a Full Time MBA which would one give me the insightful and updated knowledge bank from the top faculties and second the networking that would prove vital in exploring the US market for Post MBA placement. In my opinion, in-person experience is always better and pays off more than an online By looking at the comments and scrolling down, it seems that my experience would be an hinderance in scaling the question, "why MBA now?" and also when I already have an MBA (but from a local University). I would like if you can guide me on where should I focus more? (1)

The second one might be worth tackling in the optional essay, contrasting the experience of a local MBA much earlier in your career, to what you are seeking now. The “why now” issue, you’ll need to show that you will fully engage, inside and outside the classroom, and that you show “fit” for each program you target. (0)
