Notes:

Hello! I just finished undergrad at a top 10 public university this year. I have been interning at a startup this past semester, and I have been working in my family's business as a business development analyst since my freshman year. I am hoping to apply to MBA programs no later than fall 2024 (I'd prefer to apply earlier, but I figured I need more solid work experience). My GPA is on the weaker side after switching majors from STEM to non-STEM. I also went through some tough times during my first two years (involving mental health and sexual harassment) that I want to explain in my essays when I apply. I do have an upward trends in grades in my last 2 years at uni. I haven't taken the GMAT, but when I took a practice, I scored a 700, and I plan to continue studying and practicing for a higher score to compensate for the low GPA. I started tutoring uni students my junior year in college, and I recently launched my tutoring business, helping students in math (levels ranging from grade 1 to college calculus). For the past year, I have also been working on my own start-up and had a lot of assistance from my entrepreneurship class in my last semester of undergrad. Majors: Econ & International Studies. Pre-MBA: Business development analyst; Marketing/Branding Intern; Sales. Post MBA: Business Development analyst or Project management in Tech. Extracurriculars: Co-president of a music industry club; Fundraising chair of my sorority for 2 years; Math tutor. Hobbies/Interests: Graffiti-inspired spray paint; Piano; Swimming. My dream school is Carnegie Mellon/Tepper, and my other top choices are UPenn/Wharton, Cornell/Johnson, and Washington/Foster. Location wise for schools: I wanna be in the US. I would deeply appreciate any feedback that will strengthen my profile and boost my chances of getting into my dream school! Also, although I've done a lot of research on MBA programs, what other schools do you all recommend?
