Been listening to the podcast for over a year and it is the best resource for aspiring applicants! About to submit my round 1 applications.

-Service Academy grad with an engineering degree
-168Q/157V split
-Top ranked amongst peers in the Army and have experience working with special forces overseas
-iOS app development business owner with top rankings worldwide
-Several years volunteer experience helping veterans get into undergad.
-Finishing up HBS CORe in the next few weeks.
-I want to pivot into consulting and focus on operations/logistics to build competency to later optimize supply chains for a company like Amazon
-I’ve networked with all veterans clubs

Any last minute sanity checks before I hit submit?

Your numbers might not be outstanding, but doing HBS CORe will help. The V score on the GRE is lower than your average. Well written essays should help, there. Strong evidence of communication skills is important. (0)

I think your military/work experience is going to be key here - as it sounds VERY impressive (even the iOS dev work on the side). I am concerned about the counting stats when it comes to the higher ranking programs on your target list, but my hope is that the combination of service academy/engineering and the decent GRE score will help. Do you have a sense of how you ranked in undergraduate; e.g. where did that 3.1 place you within your class? Goals sound logical, clear, and feasible. Best of luck and keep us posted!
