I know I'm a bit of a long shot at my schools applied to. Will have about 8 YOE upon starting school in August. Spent 4 years at Big 4, 2.5 years at a large fin services firm, and 9 months at current asset manager. FWIW have a character ref from a close family-friend who works at CBS, and both LOR are from Stern Alums. Passionate for sustainable investing. Used an admissions consultant so I feel good about my story and essays. Hopeful to stand out as I am not someone interested in IB or consulting. BI believe my career leads well into my prospective transition into equity research for a buy-side fund manager.

sustainable-cfa Likes Earned: 84 Thanks, Alex. Those are the only programs for R2. If it's not looking good, I may put in some R3 apps or reapply next year. I worked with my admissions consultant to highlight achievements and impact at work, which I think are fairly substantial. I passed all three levels of the CFA exams on my first attempt, and the Series 7 and 63 exams on their first attempt. In 2019, I participated in a charity program called Haymakers for Hope, where I raised over $9300 for cancer research/treatment while training for the event, where I was a boxer in a concert hall with over 1500 attendees. In college, I was the Sustainability Chair of my fraternity, boxed on the Penn State Boxing Team, and was in the Energy Business and Finance Society. (1)
