Grew up in a rural and very dangerous town in Mexico, parents were very low income / unemployed, dad was kidnapped twice by the cartel
Worked minimum wage jobs for 2 years to pay for my college apps, had to travel 6 hours each way by bus to take SAT
Got full ride at ivy but was eating from food pantries
4 years WE at matriculation coordinating pro bono efforts for one of the largest law firms in the world
Years of unusual work that include working full time as a teacher, managing a hotel in Australia, working with asylum seekers, etc

I want to transition into nonprofit management or social impact consulting, but will probably do some management consulting first
