Post-MBA goals: work in social sector consulting/establish my own practice

Trying to put together a really good app. I feel like now I have the time and motivation to apply. Doing a lot of research making sure my essays are good. I chose to apply early to hedge my odds in the future. Any tips or advice would be great.

I'm struggling to avoid generic essay formats and want to stand out. Do they weigh the grad GPA more than UG? I'm in a MBA-relevant program (business analytics) (1)
