Lots to like in terms of professional experience and growth, impact at work. And it also looks like there’s some great ECs, to show how well rounded you are, and community-focused. I’m assuming your undergrad is competitive and equivalent etc. Maybe focus the short term goal to consulting? (0)

iceman2022 Likes Earned: 9 Thanks for responding. The plan is to target 5-6 applications in round 1. Undergrad is from a top college and the score is competitive. I am leaning towards consulting as a short term goal to be able to learn the strategic skills necessary to manage a business and network extensively. (1)

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1237 Lots to like here. Did you attend one of the IIMs? Are you actually at an MBB, or at a leading firm in the next tier? I agree with Alex that you will need to apply early, and that you should settle on a path for your goals. One final (and minor) thing; your EC as a "Freelance advisor for a boutique social media marketing company" feels less impressive (and more like regular work) than the other items...so not sure I'd push that as an EC...unless the firm specializes in clean tech or some cause related to your interests/goals? iceman2022 Likes Earned: 9 Thanks Graham - I have a Bachelors from SRCC, the leading commerce college in the country and I am at an MBB currently. The offer to return is a conversation that we usually initiate after landing an offer. On the EC, I offered strategic and financial advise to this boutique company that has grown rapidly during Covid, with 10+ active clients. I thought of it as an EC because I do this as an unpaid, goodwill advisor as the company finds its way. (1)
