BSc in Environmental Science and MSc in Engineering Hydrology at UK Russell Group Universities. My curious mind wanted to understand why our environment & availability of resources (mainly water) impacted quality of life so greatly- so set out to answer this question through understanding planetary processes and climate change.

Spent the last 6 years working within Environmental Water Management of Large infra/mining & power projects in the UK at Civil Engineering design consultancies. This involves mitigating against adverse water quality and changes in water quantity and essentially designing out risk and gaining planning consent for mostly UK public sector clients (have done some international projects). Recently have have moved in ESG-Climate Change consulting at a mid-tier consulting firm as a Senior Consultant advising corporates on Climate related risk which has inspired me to pursue a MBA.

I'd like to pivot into Climate Change Impact Investing – with a focus on Africa and African Infrastructure. My background in Environmental Management, Climate Change and understanding of ESG principles afford me with the knowledge and principles required to do the role. I feel the MBA that comes with financial literacy as well as a good network is what I'd need to take me to the next level.

Keen environmentalist, STEM Mentor and my journey is purpose and impact driven. Being a female 28yr old first generation African Immigrant (parents are refugees) in the UK has taught me glass ceilings exist. I am the first in my family to attend university.
