Hey everyone,
Hope you are all doing well. A little about myself - I am originally from India but I moved to Canada for my undergrad and then subsequently went to grad school at the University of Toronto. I come from a public policy background and have worked with various government, first as a bureaucrat and now as a consultant at one of Canada's leading banks.
I have worked for the Government of Israel, Ontario, India, and Toronto. Now I work with financial regulators in Canada, US, and the UK.
In the next phase of my career, I am looking to learn more about the private sector, specifically how firms think about market expansion and growth. To that end, I my short term goal is to make a switch to management consulting. In the long term, I want to work at the intersection of the public and the private sector.
I already have an admit from HEC Paris and am now considering applying to the above mentioned schools. Would love any advice you folks have on my profile and whether I have a realistic chance of getting into the schools of my choice.
Thank you for taking the time.
