Notes:

Undergraduate Notes:
-I majored in Strategic Communication, and minored in Business Administration and French. I spent the fall semester of my junior year studying in Cannes, France.

GMAT Notes:
-I plan on retaking the GMAT in February 2021 to see if I can beat my current score of 710, and increase my Quant score (current breakdown is Q: 44, V:42). If this score ends up being my best and final, would top schools view it as a weakness in my application or just an average score?

Professional Notes:
-Before I started my current role in October 2020, I worked as an Investment Management Consultant at a fintech firm right out of college for a year and a half, and then worked in Wealth Management at Merrill Lynch for 2 years.
-My current role is extremely cross functional, especially since the company is fairly new and growing rapidly. My day-to-day consists of speaking to investors and fund managers, working with product management on platform enhancements, connecting with the sales team on new advisor firm relationships, working with other members of the Investor Relations team on projects, creating/refining internal processes, coordinating with funds on capital calls, fund closes, etc.
-Please note I will have 4.5 years of work experience by the time I apply next fall.

Extra Curricular Activities:
-I'm currently enrolled in the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and am set to graduate as a Certified Health Coach in June 2021. Functional and integrative health is a passion of mine outside of the office and I plan on launching a small health consulting business in early 2021 as I aim to help clients, specifically female professionals, optimize their health amidst demanding careers and fast-paced lifestyles. I would love to merge this passion with my tech experience and work in the healthcare technology space post-MBA either at a healthcare tech firm, or at a bigger tech firm like a Google, etc.
-I sit on the board of a fellowship program at a college in NYC (disclaimer this program was founded by a family member, however I have been quite active on the board; I launched the fellowship's alumni program.)

Interests/Hobbies:
-Skiing, running, yoga, holistic health, singing

Final Notes:
-I have a little less than a year now to strengthen my candidacy. Am I on the right track to shoot for some of these top-notch schools I have selected? Are there any additional courses you recommend I take in the interim to prove I will have a strong performance in the classroom, particularly in quant? I would appreciate any advice you might share on how I can best supplement and refine my candidate profile before applying next fall.
-I listen to your podcast on my morning walks alongside the Hudson River on the West Side of Manhattan and it is always such a great motivation for the day ahead! Please note I would absolutely love to be featured on the podcast. Thank you both very much for the invaluable MBA admissions information week after week.
