UG: Large Maryland Public School. Business Major with 3.15 GPA. Associate's Degree with similar GPA. No patterns of upward or downward trend.
Optional essay will address my situation (Financial hardship which required me to work multiple jobs, often getting only 3-4 hours of sleep a night).

U.S. Army National Guard veteran (Enlisted Infantryman). No deployments, though multiple activations for the state and NATO trainings in EU. Joined to help support paying for college and financial situation.

4 Full-time roles.
Started in Finance (BB), left after a year due to change in situation.
Followed with 3 jobs in a niche role (Defense industry). Currently at a mid size firm building my own team.

Post-MBA would like to pursue consulting as my main target. LDP/Tech as a back-up.

GMAT: 615 (Lower than all of my mocks). Attempting again later in the month with a goal of 685.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1610 Really push hard to drive that GMAT score up, as much as you can. That will have an impact on your overall profile, especially with the lower GPA.

Targeting the first rounds should be helpful. If you’re targeting DC, post MBA, then McDonough would be an obvious target? Might also look at Kenan Flagler.

Personal story as a first gen, etc. should show how far you’ve come. Showing impact and growth at work is important. Strong ECs will also help round out your profile.
