alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1640 Potentially super profile with one big outlier, your GPA. The GRE will absolutely help here, but might not be enough on its own, for the very top programs.

Any additional context surrounding the GPA? Might also be worth considering some additional coursework, to help further mitigate the GPA? GMACs Business Fundamentals, for example.

Make sure to reach out to the veterans’ clubs of all the programs you target, and service to school.

grichmond Verified User. Likes Earned: 1184 Alex makes a great point here regarding the GPA. With that said, would be good to know where that 2.79 landed you in the class, as my understanding is that grade inflation is non-existent at the service academies. Either way, it won't hurt to take Business Fundamentals or MBA Math and demonstrate your 'classroom' chops.

Also, if your goal is to absolutely start business school in the fall of 2025, you may want to cast a slightly wider net - just in case the GPA issue trips you up.
