alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1676 The key for older candidates is twofold: on the one hand, make sure you show fit for the programs you’re targeting, and that you will fully engage. Secondly, address the “why now/MBA” very clearly.

Enlisted candidates can do well in admissions at top programs, showing how far you’ve come, etc.

Make sure to reach out the veterans’ clubs of the programs you’re targeting.

The why now/MBA is easily explained with the program I'm in but I'll be sure to explain how the program comes about at this time in an Army officer's career and added to my age with my previous enlisted years.
