Female working in sales strategy for a tech company; I was previously in a rotational leadership development program where I worked on some impactful company-wide initiatives. Long term I would love to do corporate strategy (inspired by exposure during my rotational program), and am targeting consulting in the short term to build that experience. I am targeting a 720 on the GMAT which I am taking in a few weeks. I attended an Ivy where I studied a social science. I mentor at work but don’t have any volunteering outside of that; some hobbies include cheese- and candle-making. I did not do much quant in undergrad (econ and a stats class). I would really love to start my MBA in 2021, but I am worried about my weak quant background and ECs. I wonder if that plus my three years of work experience mean that I should wait to apply until 2022 to get into a top program. Any advice/insight would be greatly appreciated. PS - love the podcast!
