Notes:

I am looking to start MBA in Fall 2026, so by then I would have 4 years of work experience. I am thinking about receiving a dual-degree, but haven't looked much into the admissions process of the second degree in healthcare. Mainly, I am debating and need help deciding if Fall 2026 is the right timeline to start an MBA, and I'll be fully prepared as a candidate, or if I need gain more experience to improve my resume.

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1722 4 years of work experience would be close to the median number of years for most top programs. Key will be to show impact and growth at work, over those four years, supported by strong recommendations.

Are you also involved in activities outside of work? Any additional hobbies and interests?

I worry about your stats currently. Do you have plans to retake the GRE? Any context surrounding your 3.0 GPA?

anon36440 Likes Earned: 0 Hi Alex, thank you for getting back so quickly, I am involved in several activities and hobbies outside of work - such as Toastmasters, Tennis, Explore New Cultures, and Adult Ministry. I am working on retaking the GRE towards the end of April, my realistic goal is to get a 160Q/Q147V. I have a strong reasoning behind my low-GPA. One of the reasonings that my GPA is 3.0 is due to a low-point in my first-year micro/macro econ classes that tanked my GPA. However, throughout the remaining 3 years in college you will notice a steady increase in my GPA, ending with an award to be on the Dean's List when I graduated from College. (0)

alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1722 Why is there a discrepancy between 3 and 4 years? Telling the truth is absolutely important. It’s your impact and growth at work that will be key.

I still worry that your target GRE score will be low, relative to the medians of these target programs. A positive trend in grades is good, but the overall GPA, with a lower GRE score, will make things challenging?
