Hi, really appreciate the input. I'm 25 years old Indonesian Male (am I over-represented?) trying to apply for the 2021 intake. I got a 720 GMAT score and a 3.4 GPA from Indonesian no.1 Engineering school (think Indonesian MIT), majoring in Mechanical Engineering. GPA kind of low in the second year due to the introduction of finance to my life and a very hectic student activities as one of a three member leadersip event for new member committee for my major student club.
Out of college I worked in KPMG as a management consultant, working with a diversified teams (IT consultant, finance consultant, etc). Afterward I move to EY as a Corporate Finance consultant, working mainly as infrastructure advisor. My EC are not that bright, I do some informal mentoring some 5-7 underprivileged children with activities such as brainstorming in job application, creating CV, basically sharing them basic softskill that I got from my consulting experiences. I'm also a advanced license diver, already dived in most of Indonesian exotic spot.
ST goal would be to get into MBB Corporate Finance Consulting, I want to get the exposure of delivering a CFO advisory at the highest level. and in the Long Term, to return to Indonesia to apply the exposure as a CFO in a Fortune 500 company or maybe start my own Corporate Finance Firm. I believe Indonesia has a lot prospects and I want to be the one that helped it become the next economic power.
