Most of my work at my current firm to this point has been supporting tech design + implementation for a Health and Human Services gov't agency. I have been involved with tons of internal sustainability efforts and pro-bono supported a LATAM-based economic development nonprofit. Hoping to use the MBA as a way to develop more sustainability + finance fundamentals to come back to current firm and lead decarb strategy engagements. White M. I know my GMAT and GPA are below avg for schools I'm looking at. Will sponsorship be enough to make up for it?

Sponsorship can be good, but really important to show impact and growth at work. Are you involved in activities outside of work? Any additional hobbies and interests?

anon13489 Likes Earned: 2 635 twice - 82Q/82V/80DI and 83Q/83V/78DI. I underperformed on verbal and DI but overperformed on quant compared to the mocks. I have gotten up to 655 on the official mocks, but that is likely my peak. I'm planning to retake this week before submitting apps, but the Ross and SOM deadlines are fast approaching. Should delay until R2 to try and improve the GMAT 10-20 points? I've been studying for almost a year, am a historically bad standardized test taker due to test anxiety, and at this point I think any score improvement will be from luck over knowledge. No activities to write home about, classic west-coast outdoor activities, trail running, marathons, triathlon, etc. I'm a dual Canadian-American citizen. I frequently visited my parents, and recently moved in with them, to support a younger sibling. Super passionate about sustainable/economic development, and am really leaning into my work with government and non profit clients to carve the path for what I want to be doing and why I need b school to do it. alexbr4 Verified User. Likes Earned: 1642 Good luck with the GMAT retake this week. I think once that’s done, I’d pull the trigger on your apps. Squeezing out a few extra points likely won’t dramatically move the needle.

You honestly appear to be a very decent candidate, overall.
