I studied Chemical Engineering a top 10 public university in the United States. Upon graduation, I've been working in Consulting at a big four accounting firm (i.e., EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC). My plan is to receive sponsorship from my firm where I will then return for 2 years. My longer term goals are to become a CEO where I can create and implement strategies to grow a successful, lasting business. My target industry is Investment Management as this is where I have spent most of my consulting tenure. I have good ECs that are related to my personal background (I have a unique family situation which I intend to flex as part of my applications). Additionally, I am confident in my recs. My concern is with my GMAT score (730: Q49 V41 IR8 AWA5). I know I can do better, but at what cost? Am I better off spending more time refining my story and essays for Round 1 apps, or will a 20 point bump truly make an impactful difference? Additionally, I am a white male from the midwest.
